I’ve Been There Before
At lunchtime my colleague asked what I usually do on weekends. I said sometimes I rest at home and sometimes I go out for a walk, and asked if he had ever been to the riverside park.
He hadn’t been, only seen photos online. I explained that I’d been there several times, that there are many flowers in spring, and lots of people walking and running there on summer evenings.
He wanted to know about food nearby, so I recommended a small restaurant next to the park that I had visited twice with friends. The food is good and not expensive, but it gets busy at weekend lunchtimes so we usually go early.
He said it sounded nice and suggested going together next time I am free. I agreed and said that once he has gone there once with me, he will be able to find the way by himself in the future.
